Akamai: ascertain if requested content hit cache etc.

Caching. Perhaps one of the largest pain-in-the-ass things to work with.

If you use Akamai as your CDN, and need to ascertain if content hit or missed cache etc. It’s actually quiet easy to do.

You need to form a custom request header:

  
Pragma:akamai-x-cache-on
  

Which will give you a response, like so:
